GIG, a leader in the fundraising industry, is seeking a dynamic Engagement Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this multifaceted role, you'll play a pivotal role in attracting top talent and propelling our recruitment efforts forward. You'll also be instrumental in securing bookings for our fundraising events. Overall your role will ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidates and foster growth for our bustling events business.

Here's what you'll do:

• Talent Acquisition Rockstar:

• Identify high-potential candidates through resumes received daily.
• Pre-screen candidates, conduct initial phone interviews, and schedule in-person or virtual interviews with hiring managers.
• Build relationships with potential candidates, providing a positive first impression of our company culture and career opportunities.
• Be a positive ambassador for our company culture and employer brand.
• Offer and onboard candidates, completing the full recruiting cycle.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
• Event Booking Champion:

• Develop and execute outreach strategies to secure bookings for our fundraising events.
• Secure bookings for fundraising events at various venues
• Assist with event logistics and manage event calendars
• Track progress, measure success, and generate reports
• Build relationships with event organizers and key stakeholders in the community both in person and virtually.

What you bring to the table:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other relevant software tools.
• A natural problem-solver with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for exceeding expectations.
• Experience with event booking or sales outreach is a major advantage.
